Every piece, hallmarked

Hallmarking is not a promise, it is the law, and it is verifiable by you. Every gold ornament sold here carries the full BIS hallmark.

BIS logo

The Bureau of Indian Standards triangle, stamped on every hallmarked piece.

Purity grade

916 means 91.6% pure gold (22 karat). 750 is 18k, 999 is 24k.

HUID

Jeweller's mark

Verify any piece yourself: enter its HUID in the BIS CARE app and the metal, purity and selling jeweller appear. Ask at the counter and staff will do it with you.

How a bill is built

No hidden lines. Every invoice shows the same four parts.

  1. Gold value. Net weight × the board rate of the day, the same rate on the board behind the counter and on this site.
  2. Making charge (panikooli). Stated per gram or per piece before billing, never after.
  3. Stone or material charges. Weighed and priced separately, shown separately.
  4. GST. 3% on gold jewellery, on the printed invoice with the GSTIN.
